    Technological dependence:

It is undeniable to declare that today’s society, outside the realities of the still almost completely underdeveloped part of the world, is totally dependent on technology. This technology obviously includes the internet, for example.

Paradoxically, something we have created to make our lives simpler and more efficient has created a huge weakness today. The dependence on technology goes in many directions but just think about what would happen, for example, if the electricity or simply the internet will stop working for a few weeks or a few months.

Production chains, supply chains, distribution chains, the financial system, the health system, and much more would be seriously affected. In a nutshell, it does not take much to take us back thousands of years, with the basic difference that nowadays such as nobody is self-sufficient, as lulled by well-being.

Other negative implications for addiction to technology extend in many directions: reduction of the human workforce and therefore unemployment, weakening of society, psychological consequences, pollution, and even the threat dictated by the advent of artificial intelligence and advanced robotics.

Furthermore, it is necessary to consider everything that involves the growing demand and use of electronic components (these too are a finite good on the planet).

Be realistic, there's absolutely nothing you can do to stop it now.

Let's use our recent global disaster to assess how fucked we are:

The COVID pandemic showed in true colours how dysfunctional the global society is, and how splintered we all are. That was the first species wide disaster I have witnessed, and idiots were willing to kill everyone around them for pride and ego. So many refused to change, adapt or navigate through the crisis. Fake news!

Then we saw the disparity between poor and rich nations for vaccines. The poor expected the wealthy to pay for their vaccines, and the rich kept enormous surpluses…. Following our resources disparities to a tee. I'm sure there's countries out there that have yet to get vaccinated.

Then, we saw corporate control and manipulation to keep the $$$$ rolling in. Side effects were pushed aside or suppressed to begin with.

Replicate what you saw with COVID, and how the narrative was changed to deny its existence, the path of the spread, the origin of it all was simply denied and its spread was unstoppable.

Nations fudged the figures of truth so they didn't look bad in the media. Denial and lies.

That's what collapse will be like. Some will hold out, but eventually everyone will get nailed in the end.

Pour a scotch, enjoy life while you can.

Thesis concerning the IPCC’s intentional minimization of climate change

I was recently approached by several climate scientists regarding my thesis now that it’s available on Google Scholar and at their behest am sharing it in forums wherein likeminded individuals can access the research I’ve done in an effort to illuminate the complicity of the IPCC in minimizing the impacts and speed of climate change. The highlighted issues have been foundational since 1990 and in many cases even acknowledged by the Working Groups themselves and yet nothing has changed, indicating that the IPCC as suspected is merely a tool to validate the non-response of governments in their effort to maximize their fossil fuel profit opportunities.

While the paper does not proscribe a solution to the issue, it is abundantly clear that the IPCC has failed in its stated goals and reproduces the conditions necessary for growth centered ideologies to drive us into extinction.

Thousands call for ‘climate reparations and justice’ in global protests

Recent months have seen deadly floods engulfing large parts of Pakistan, wildfires ravaging north Africa, Europe and North America, and record-breaking heatwaves in Britain and India.

“We’re striking all over the world because the governments in charge are still doing too little for climate justice,” said Darya Sotoodeh, a spokesperson for the group’s chapter in Germany.

Sure they will. If, as your priests tell you, climate change is caused by humans. Then it only stands to reason if you sacrifice enough humans the climate will stop changing.

Maybe if you sacrificed those humans 30 years ago.
