Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement,[1][2][3] characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.[2][3]
  5. But in truth, fascists are people who try to shut people up, ban the truth, burn books, topple statues, burn down cities, and bootlick government forces, and anyone with even two brain cells to rub together knows that's the left, not the right.

It wasn't defined that way in the 30s and 40s when actual fascist were in power in Europe kid.

The two ruling parties slavishly serve the dictates of the war industry, global corporations and the oligarchy, to which it has given huge tax cuts. It has established the most pervasive and intrusive system of government surveillance in human history. It runs the largest prison system in the world. It has militarized the police.

Democrats are as culpable as Republicans.

Opposed to anarchism, democracy, pluralism, liberalism, socialism and Marxism,[7][8] fascism is placed on the far-right wing within the traditional left–right spectrum.[4][8][9]

The step from dysfunctional democracy to full blown fascism was, and will again be, a small one. The hatred for the ruling class, embodied by the establishment Republican and Democratic parties, which have merged into one ruling party, is nearly universal. The public, battling inflation that is at a 40-year high and cost the average U.S. household an additional $717 a month in July alone, will increasingly see any political figure or political party willing to attack the traditional ruling elites as an ally. The more crude, irrational or vulgar the attack, the more the disenfranchised rejoice. These sentiments are true here and in Europe, where energy costs are expected to rise by as much as 80 percent this winter and an inflation rate of 10 percent is eating away at incomes.

Why can't we all just get on the same page and start a violent revolution? I watch all these other countries battling the cops on the streets and tbh it makes us (United States of Americans) look like weaklings. We just sit on our couches making observations and saying shit. Talk talk talk we're all talk.

Because those countries have experienced decades more decay of their rights, prosperity, and opportunities under radical left leaders than the US has. They have truly seen the monster for what it is.

Well they should serve as examples of what's to come.

I mean I guess I know the answer it's kinda the same as not giving a fuck about potential climate change or shit that might affect us way down the line. Obviously I don't REALLY have good reason to go riot in the streets as I'll be able to just live out my life relatively comfortably, but I mean, it would be kinda fun to try and make a substantial difference and be part of the era that said enough is enough.

I'm sure it won't happen though and I'll just continue to do my little thing and live my little life, forgotten entirely in about 50 years from now as though I never even ezisted. That's ok too i guess. Whatever !

It's an endless cycle of struggle. Knowing and accepting that this is life makes things simpler to deal with on a daily level.
