Loled when i saw that. With the us fleet in the nork zone it makes sense for china to posture this way. I doubt much will come of it tbh famz. But then again recalling expats is pretty serious so we will see what comes of it.

Honestly surprised they didn't announce it weeks ago - the fact that they've decided to now indicates they've become more worried that the situation isn't salvageable.

KOREA - A document is circling Chinese social networks - it's apparently a leaked ultimatum to North Korea, indicating they will cease trade and relinquish all military support if they move forward with the next nuclear test. Officials have not commented on it though so there's no guarantee it's legitimate. Given that it's rare for such documents to be leaked in China, it may be an intentional psyop.

SYRIA - Russia has proposed four 'de-escalation zones' to temporarily allow 'moderate rebels' to sort out their differences with 'less-moderate rebels' without getting bulldozed by the SAA.

So far it's drawn many comparisons with the US-proposed 'No-Fly Zones' (which they previously used to destroy the government of Libya) and the 'Safe Zones' proposed by Turkey (which were likely meant to create a corridor for their military to enter Syria with little resistance), but this proposal would not cede control of the zones to outside parties and will apparently only be small areas most affected by rebel infighting.

In the eyes of Russia/Syria, the goal is likely to allow these 'hotspots' to burn out - either the rebels destroy each other or they resolve their differences and become more willing to join the Astana peace talks. They will, however need to monitor individual situations carefully as ISIS and AQ will try to take advantage of the lack of government pressure, and outside parties WILL try to resupply them.

SYRIA (x2) - Human Rights Watch are apparently accusing the SAA of using a Soviet chemical aerial bomb in the latest sarin attack... The KhAB-250 they cite (1) was never exported outside of Russia (2) explodes midair, so would not leave a crater at all and (3) have all been logged as destroyed at the end of the Cold War.

SYRIA (x3) - Following the SAA crushing AQ's last haven in Hama (I believe the only thing stopping them at the moment is a plain in front of the major city literally infested with camouflaged TOW emplacements), we'll likely see a ceasefire between Russia, Iran, Hezbullah and Turkey. Turkey's sick of being the US' lapdog and are likely willing to trade in their invasion aspirations for strong representation of their proxies at the Astana talks, resulting in some level of autonomy for the Syrian Turkmen and pals.

SYRIA - The SAA has retaken Taqbah Dam so ISIS won't be pouring diesel in the water supply anymore.

On the 'De-escalation Zones' - the rebels have been screaming for this for years, but still threw tantrums and walked/were escorted out of the Astana talks like children throwing tantrums.

I imagine they've been trying to assassinate him for a long time; doubt it's the CIA though - NK would be a very difficult country for them to operate in. Like I said in the last thread, the US carrier group headed out that way includes several ships/submarines specifically outfitted for covert insertion/retrieval so it's quite likely Trump aims to send special forces in.

As for NK's media I don't think they know what to do with themselves now that trolling Obama's not an option anymore

UKRAINE - The US has earmarked $150mil for the Ukraine war effort on the condition that it is not used on Azov Battalion because apparently they're far too enthusiastic about Nazism. I'm not sure why they singled out Azov considering virtually all of the 'volunteer battalions' are cut from the same cloth, so to speak, and the Banderites and UPA supporters are all through the government and (remaining) military.

FYI Stepan Bandera headed the UPA, a Ukrainian nationalist group that operated during WWII. They didn't directly work with the NSDAP (I think) but apparently emulated them in a childish sort of way - they ran massive purges on eastern Ukraine, torturing and killing anyone who wasn't 'pure Ukranian' or who 'wasn't nationalist enough', often in bizarre and disgusting ways such as forcing children to murder their parents and drink their blood.

KOREA - The US house of representatives has passed a bill meant to enforce sanctions on NK by giving them authority to inspect and control the transit of goods from many of Russia and China's seaports. How they plan on enforcing that and how they managed to convince enough reps that it makes any sort of sense are both mysteries.

SYRIA - the SAA have cut off all ISIS supply lines to Deir ez Zor. They're in the preparation stages of 'Operation Lavendar' which is to lay siege to the city - Russian forces are involved, possibly ground forces this time.

IRAQ - in spite of sanctions, the PM has revealed Iraq supplies oil to Syria at half price.

Doesn't the CIA also run an active plan on annexing Canada as an exercise?

Personally I don't think they're trying to kill Kim. What good would it do? It just stretches us onto a front nobody really wants to be on. It'd cause problems with China and Russia for sure. It's best just to let them live in their own little world, it's not like they're any real danger. Or rather, we aren't in any danger from them. Immediate area might be. But I seriously can't think of a good reason to kill him.

I mean, let's get rid of the facade that we do any of this war stuff for good here.

    This is pure, unadulterated insanity.

"Coming to Russia, don’t complain about its weather. Remember that our climate was designed as a weapon against invading armies"

Lol what the actual fuck? Do they really think the climate was designed rather than just being lucky to have such shit weather that invasion is nearly impossible?

But on the other hand Uncle Sam trying to open a migrant center in Moscow is just full fucking retard. More proof of the Zog right there.

No, it's just hyperbole - if the end goal is the invasion of Russia the plan was a failure from the start, etc

For those who don't want to read that article (I linked it because it's an excellent breakdown), HR1644 is a bill that just cleared the house of representatives in the US - on it's face it pertains to sanctions on North Korea, but appears to be more focused on attacking Russia, China and Iran:

    1. it calls for tenders to build a refugee centre in Moscow, even though Russia has not heard any request for such

    2. it makes a blanket statement calling any labour performed by North Korean citizens 'slave labour' and sets penalties for 'benefitting' from it

    3. based on the above they likely intend to sanction the Russian agricultural sector given that there are several regions where large numbers of NK seasonal workers and expats work in the industry

    4. the US is ostensibly giving itself control over roughly half of all of Russia and China's major ports, as well as all of those of Syria and Iran - attempting to give themselves authority to inspect, intercept and seize anything that they assume may be destined to or from NK

    5. all of these items and more are applied retroactively to within the last year - even if Russia were to stop hiring NK nationals, for instance, the US would still press for sanctions given that they'd 'used' NK workers within the last year.
