I met the author years later (who wanted to have a drink with me but I was on parole and wasn't even allowed to ve where I was at let alone drink in a small town) and he said the kid they got to play thr part I auditioned for was poor and never had good food before so he ate all the catered food everyday, got fat halfway thru and they had to put him on dietary restrictions or he would get fired for being plump and fucking up continuity. That could have been me ☹️ -
