Military Genius Zelensky wants Ukrainians to throw molotovs at Russian tanks

So this sounds more like an exercise in frustration than a solution to drone usage.

yeah that's the behaviour of most consumer drones, military units usually have redundencies like autopilot returning it to a predetermined emergency landing point or a holding pattern until control can be re-established.

like I said, nothing particularly new, but

The gun emits separate electromagnetic pulses to suppress channels used to operate a drone. As a result, the drone loses contact with its operator, while its uncontrolled flight ends in a crash. Stupor has a range of two kilometers, covering a 20 degree sector.

The device is capable of suppressing navigation and transmission channels used by unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as their photo and video cameras within the electro-optical range of frequencies. It can be charged from the grid, as well as from a car battery.

wideband designed to interfere with common wireless infrastructure at a 2km range, it's going to be fun times when they show up in the wild. I wonder what they'd do to a passenger plane's instruments on takeoff or landing; that's the number one reason why most states are afraid of MANPADs showing up on black markets

MANPADS have nothing to do with aircraft controls.

    don't be a nigger

one of the US' biggest fears after supplying the Afghans with STINGERS was that someone would use them to shoot down passenger planes on takeoff or landing (considering cruising altitude is way outside the range of even modern man-portable systems), it's one of the reasons why airports have exlusion zones around them

if these jammers are effective enough they could potentially do the same thing by fucking up instrument readings and tower communications at a crucial time while being far less detectable and traceable than a missile
  4. A passenger plane can be hijacked remotely and flown into any target. That's what the FBI did on 9/11.

Even if you gum up all the location sensors and radar altimeters and the like the plane is still going to have enough EMF shielding around central systems to be manually flyable.

This thing the Russians have sounds basically just a 2.4Ghz and a 5Ghz microwave emitter.

    i c.

only airbuses are vulnurable to EW because they fly by wires while boeing fly mechanically with hydraulic assist. all commercial aircrafts take off and land manually so good pilots shouldnt have much problem flying without instruments.

instrumemts are only important in low visibility conditions.

if they have all the necessary shieldings then why arent we allowed to use our phones in flight ?

China drones use a lot of stolen tech, and while China can upgrade stolen stuff. The difference is negligible. Besides, you need to take doctrine into account, and the type of operations these drones will be deployed in. Are they suited for the job? Are they multi-purpose? Is their ammo, mass-produce-able?

Aircrack-NG, Yersinia, or Airmageddon running on a Nexus 7 with a kali nethunter ROM and a YAGI antenna will probably be enough to 'jam' drones that communicate using those bands, lmao.

all advanced countries use stolen tech from one another, you think the US rocket tech and germ warfare tech are natively developed ? you think your countrys gun and armament industries are natively developed ? even your beer industry use stolen technology.

the only countries that dont "steal technology" are african countries. all others do and the onky difference is that china does it on a chinas scale.

and forget about doctrinal dicktates. drones are just tools, its up to the people to deploy them according to their capabilities, and not the other way round.

Nah. Actually developed countries innovate, and collaborate to create new technologies and thus weapons systems. Also, who said i give a shit about US capabilities? I can dislike the US MIC and the CCP at the same time ya dingus.

China is a corrupt shithole, that killed or scared away it's best and brightest. The CCP sucks at anything that isn't domestic repression and foreign espionage.

Doctrine, as in military doctrine encompasses that and more.

i didnt realize the nederlands are chocked full of anti china propagadas,

Doctrine, as in military doctrine encompasses that and more.

all solid military doctrines can be summed up into a line or less.

I dunno why Russia bothered holding onto it so long, it's pretty worthless strategically

oh yeah, not strictly related but BELGOROD's officially entered into active service, not sure if that includes the POSEIDON torpedoes though

those are useless because they cant be used jn he SMO and its not going to scare NATO's mostly unmanned defense ministers and commanders because they mostlikely wont be able to fathom its implication.
