a person who lives in rwanda who relied on 6 gallons of diesel @ 10 dollars per gallon to churn out a bitcoin doesnt equal a fat fucking geek who lives in france who paid french fries to churn out a bitcoin with electrics from a nuclear reactor. -
2022-06-16 at 4:09 PM UTCas long as someone with good cheap electricity access is mining blocks on the bitcoin network the current hash rate will continue to increase at an exponential rate. If every first world country lost electricity access and ONLY africans with gas gennys were mining BTC the hash rate would sharply decline similar to the China ban,
The block rewards would go up to the point where you could be getting multiple BTC/day which even at $1 is pretty decent money for running a generator in some back woods african village. It sounds just like the days when BTC was worth nothing and people did it as a hobby or bought a pizza with 100 BTC
and as long as someone keeps mining the network just grows regardless of any outside factor, price or energy. It's simply a code doing what it was designed to do.

2022-06-16 at 4:55 PM UTCJust killed a bitcoin miner. Pretty nasty little beast. Evades all anti-virus, polymorphic, runs in protected memory, self-checking routines, fake self destruct and replication delay tactics, completely FUD, call home, the works. It was fun, until I finally stabbed it in the throat.

They do. The more I dig into all of this the more questions I start asking.
And when questions start getting asked you start looking for answers. Answers are ugly. Reality is always so much more horrible than what we can imagine. -

For those who don't know, Michael Saylor is CEO of a software company called Microstrategy ($MSTR) that borrowed heavily to buy bitcoin, using the bitcoin itself as collateral. The banks that lent the money are currently in the process of margin calling Microstrategy, asking it to post more collateral against the loans.

"Debunks" margin call rumor, by going into how they are currently getting margin called. "Debunked" must be the fakest word in the English language. -
