This kinda reminds me of jail vs prison. When people say "oh shit bubba is sure gonna have his way with him in jail" or "I hope he rots in jail for the rest of his life!" Or "haha what a fucking loser enjoy your life sentence in your little jail cell sucker!"
And it's blatantly obvious what they mean and I stand to gain next to nothing by correcting them telling them that jail and prison aren't the same thing, but I do it anyway because it just feels good to make fun of them. -
