FFS I lost my badge for work today and the office that makes new badges isn't open on Fridays. They are RFID so I couldn't get past any doors, dispense any meds, or open any pyxis machines today without a partner. As soon as I got home, I found it in my car between my seat and center console. I had to go all day irritable as fuck because I couldn't sneak out for a smoke.
I'm starting to wonder if anticipation really has such a negative impact on time. I mean no matter if I'm waiting 3 days or 10 days for something the maddening slowness of time seems comparable either way.
