Some fag makes it an expensive trendy food for 12 bucks.
Kind of like bottled water..when I was a kid the idea of paying $1 or more for a bottle of tap water was laughable...now they have "Artisan" bottled water for $10 and shit...
..then there's the $6 coffee at Starbucks... -
2022-04-20 at 7:54 PM UTCjig starbucks may actually be more espensive in poland despite not having the trifecta or trenta cup only venti and not even the same offerings or quality of ice coffees or ice coffee drinks and the wage here being w third or so less.

2022-04-20 at 8:03 PM UTCLast time I was in Bath UK...at the Roman baths...they have a water fountain there that you can drink from (for free..well for the entrance fee) that is the source of the magical waters the Romans enjoyed and built their roman baths around.
It claims to cure all kinds of ailments, including impotence.. exwife #2 wouldn't drink it but she goaded me into drinking about 8 cupfulls....very sulfurous.

You're not allowed to go in the water...just drink it from the fountain. I guess they don't want a bunch of tourists pissing in it. ETA: As I recall though they have special days where you can pay through the nose to swim in it...I'm sure you have to be a famous person though to qualify. -

I had all 17 episodes
We had it on local pbs station when I was a kid. I read that William Ellis was angry film crew made some alterations without his permission and this may have factored into no second season.
Also people vandalized his property before they opened it up as a tourist attraction. Probably after he died. -
