I saw it on PBS. Canada's health care is declining. I never said America's was better, I just said your health system is over burdened more now than ever before.
Nigga, PBS is declining way worse than Canada's health care system is.
Every health care system in the world is under immense strain right now. Despite this I know a few people who have important medical issues that are being looked after very quickly right now.
The provinces each have their own health authority and the power to make important decisions surrounding them, including how much doctors and nurses get paid. What I find one of the biggest tragedies of the system is that paramedics and EMTs get paid jack shit and work long hours. Pigs start out making 80k and EMTs something like 30k, maybe 40.
Regardless, the trade off of waiting a little while for a surgery that you don't immediately need, but it being free, is an easy one to make. Paying an arm and a leg for EVERYTHING is fucking insane. It's not doctors wanting to make money, it's your government and other billionaires wanting to be even bigger, fatter, bloated corpses of bureaucracy. So much cronyism involved in your system it's disgusting.
Tommy Douglas would beat the fuck out of every single one of your politicians then give a moving sermon on Sunday. His grandson is literally Jack Baur Have some fucking respect.
