Min wage increases are fucking stupid. Look at the trend between wage increases and the prices of everything else.
If everything else goes up is it still a wage increase? Not in my eyes.

I heard you have to wait months in Canada for a Heart procedure and other things that are fairly life threatening. I don't mean a heart transplant. some people in any country can wait for years to get a new heart and usually die before they can. but things like triple bypass or even a stent.
they were shutting down Kidney Dialysis here in the USA for a while. Those commercials were sad. I wonder how many people died because of underfunding in the USA.
Im curious if they fixed that problem or not. But Canada I'm told is far worse now because of all the immigration they brought in and many don't work and tax the system. you're Canadian Health Plan isn't what it used to be. Even with advance medicines and all, it's more likely you will die waiting in Canada. and it's starting to happen in the USA as well. perhaps the UK, Germany etc etc will be next

I saw it on PBS. Canada's health care is declining. I never said America's was better, I just said your health system is over burdened more now than ever before.
and leave my Crackhead riders out of this. Some of them are fucking hilarious. I picked one up in the Tenderloins in San Francisco one day. He seemed like a normal office worker until he started talking. He was clearly dressed very well and didn't stink. suddenly he's having me stop to pick up some hooker and she scored some crystal for him. for a while I would drive around the Tenderloins just for a laugh at who I would pick up. I have a weird sense of humor sometimes. but then I got really creeped out by someone gaslighting me with some CIA level shit and I dropped his ass off at some CIA'esque crashhouse (which they apparently move around alot) I won't go into the conversation but yeah, TOTSE was involved.
No lie. maybe they were fucking with me and had a good laugh afterwards. but this was just before I found this place. nothing has happened ever sense. maybe they don't see me as a threat anymore but just a benign character? Hmmmmmmmm?

Specialists can take a while tho but if you're referred by your GP they can expedite and prioritize it. There might be a middle ground with a 2 tier system but no civilized developed nation would scrap universal health care for a private system, that's just pure cuckholdery

If you have socialised healthcare you need to be very sick to get seen quickly. If you aren't sick you aren't prioritised, and it can be 5 or 10 years before you get seen, no shit.
Also young people get way better and quicker care than old people. I have no idea how that's not more controversial given how many old assholes there are, but it makes sense to me. If you are old you are nearly let die when you get sick.
If you are very sick and you are young social health systems work incredibly well. At least that's been my experience having a few different things, like meningitis, pneumonia and cancer and relying on the social health system for care I simply wouldn't have been able to afford in an exploitative, hyper-regulated american style system.

America is a Capitalist's nation. Doctors want to make money too.
a lot of them were vocal about a poor persons problem. most hospitals seem to have more asian doctors now because those people are used to a socialized health care system and don't complain while a lot of the American born doctors just go private practice and don't take many insurance plans anymore. Cash paying patients with money.
thats the way it is here in the USA. It's for profit.
a lot of attorneys have left their fields because it's harder for them to make money. most become ambulance chasers for easy bucks. contacting people right away for family members lost. i think there is a law where they can't contact you directly however they'll run adds. its fucked up.
America is a capitalist nation. we were responsible for our own lives but had the freedom to do things other nations would not allow.
