  2. You guys do realize we are talking about regions (the LDNR) and around 3.5 million people right?

Zelensky's ordered all major roads in and out of Kiev to be bombed in order to slow down Russian armor

    seems a bit counterproductive though

Putin plays chess and we just recap the moves after

Yeah, this. Anyone who says "it's obvious what was going to happen" is using the benefit of hindsight. None of us knew, and we don't know what Putin's next step will be either.

He's worse than fucking Hitler in his bunker. Oh yeah, slightly inconvenience the Russians. That'll really help.

Thinking about the Odessa fire and Maiden square false flags of 2014. If Russia doesn't cripple and ensure safety for Russian speakers and ethnic Russians, you can expect a brutal crackdown and alot of bloodshed when the operation is over.

The crazy thing is the best scenario for Ukrainian refugees/children in the immediate area/short term is to go to Russia. Poland doesn't have as welcoming an immigration policy and safety net.

residents of the LDNR were given Russian citizenship a while back; there were mass evacuations across the border shortly before the operation.

for people further west, it's probably way too risky for them to try crossing the country during an active conflict (especially since planes and trains are shut down)

I was more thinking about Mariopol and kharkiv Ukrainian speakers. They'd kinda be moving through the line of fire right now, probably best to shelter in place.

Remember last year when Poland literally violated the Geneva convention to prevent middle east refugees from entering there from Belarus? What a bastion of freedom, so glad they're part of Nato and not a shitty joke.
