Makes me wonder if these people are retarded with their money management and literally spending the last that they have to get the bare minimum they can afford to survive, or they're just wealthy enough that they don't give a fuck because they can afford it with ease. -

2022-02-16 at 5:47 PM UTCI was at a chums house on Friday night and we were talking about Uber eats...he asked me if I ever used them and I scoffed and said "No, I wouldn't waste my money when I can get in the car, go get it myself and save $10 or whatever the upcharge is"
He said he used it regularly getting burritos from Chipotle because he didn't want to have to put pants on. -
2022-02-16 at 5:51 PM UTCLess than Jake just came to my mind after reading Better than Ezra. I'm feeling pretty good tbh fam. Bout to go pass a piss test and get my new jobby finalized.
Should be getting my tax returns back any day now.
Going to see Tool for the first time ever in less than a month.
Did my spring cleaning early so my place actually looks IMMACULATE especially with my new bed and accompanying furniture.
Winter is going to be over soon.
A few other various projects that I'm making headway on.
Circular, circular. Harness the good release the bad. -
2022-02-16 at 5:51 PM UTCI bet the delivery gal was startled when he answered the door, Jiggles.

Yes this seems to be the general consensus. It caters to the rich and/or lazy. I guess it's really no different than pizza delivery that's been around since before the dawn of time, just now you can get basically anything you want. It was just a matter of TOIME. -

gotta pass a piss test for a job as a cook? That's pathetic. Ur future employers are awfully self-important. -

I've always got food in the house...the closest I've come (and done) would be ordering instacart delivery but then I'd be buying a bunch of groceries and the fee is less than $5 + tip.
I supposed pizza delivery qualifies? though that's usually cheaper than going to the pizza joint when you apply online discounts etc and they delivery fee is like $2.95. -

As just mentioned I think the pizza delivery is much cheaper (delivery fee wise?) though as I've never used uber eats I'm not sure...surely the uber eats driver has be be making $10 at least no?? I mean who the fuck is going to drive to the food place, then the customers place for $3...Paul Wozny? -

It's at a hospital m8. They need to cross all their t's and dot their i's. It's certainly much more than normal the amount of paperwork and stuff I've had to do, but it's also a major pay increase, benefits, sign-on bonus, etc, so I can't really complain.
They can have all my piss they want. I'll fill the container right up to the brim for 'em. -

This opportunity is available only because u stopped smoking pot. Way to ditch the Devil's Lettuce. It was only holding you back. -
2022-02-16 at 6:09 PM UTCLet's keep in mind, Uber eats and doordash, etc is especially popular for people living in the city who don't have a vehicle handy. That's where its most prevalent

Lol clearly lots of people because it's a booming industry. I don't really know how they're able to make money but if I use it I just use promo codes and shit so I'm basically just getting the food delivered for free (plus the tip I give which is of course the compensation for me not having to drive across town.) I rarely utilize it but when I do I am SATISFIED. (Mr Wok black pepper chicken and chicken fried rice). I guess it's maybe a little more utilized here in the winter when it's -15° and nobody feels like bundling up to go outside to drive across town when they can just make someone else do it. -
