My guess is the location of the 1/4 zone is when the sun sets there. and the people based their time exactly year round on the sun setting instead of getting off work at the top of a specific hour. they worked from sunrise to sunset. longer in the summer to hurry and prepare for short days all of their goods.
so thats why it became that way? otherwise, some people just wanted to be different. -

i have seen 1/2 hour timezones (which i still thought was stupid) but never 1/4 timezones. who gives a shit about the sun rising exactly on time to the damn minute, you can wait 15 minutes, even the bright twilight right before sunup lasts longer than 15 fuckin minutes lmao.
and aldra is right, daylight savings is a concept as retarded as trannies. ITS 6 AM BUT WE IDENTIFY AS 7 AM BECAUSE THE DARK IS TRIGGERING -

Daylight savings time isn't just for the farmers. its for school children when it gets too dark to walk to school early in the morning. especially for children who don't have bus options and have to walk along the side of roadways. -

the funny thing is this. the farther south or north you are on a parallel coordinance, the sun will set at a different time anyways depending on the time of year. even on the equator the sun sets slightly different every day because of the wobble of the Earth.
you can't fight change in sunsets. -

it sucks that the sun sets so late in the summer its like 9pm here and 10pm up near Seattle or Portland
the night goes faster. just let it set around 8pm at its latest. especially if you have to get up early.
