farmville had an interesting concept it went really deep, I never played it but I knew girls and people that played it and THE GAME WENT DEEP lots of copies of it but nobody really plays anything like it anymore like WUT it was a fucking cash cow you could easily remake that shit and make the big bucks it's poised to come back man I have been thinking about it
I remember getting into it so much I learned how to HACK it and make the time go super fast so I could grow a thousand banana trees in a minute of real time and just abusing the system. I have so much to show for it today

I got tired of this already, it took 3 real world days to tame my pigs (2 of them) and god knows how many days for them to produce enough pigs that I might slaughter some and still sustain a good breeding stock for more (that even assumes one is male and female which isn't readily apparent).
On top of that copper and tin cannot be teleported so if you have your viking hall on one side of the map and the fucking copper/tin ore is on the other...you have to carry it all across..and because of the weight you have to make multiple trips...Or build a new viking hall near the ore.
Fuck that shit, I'm too old for that back and forth crap in real life let alone in a stupid game.

Welcome to modern games, they hire people to make sure that you have a constant condition of artificial scarcity, because apparently constant struggle is addictive and making addictive games is easier than making good games.
Look into CheatEngine, you can easily edit the running code to give yourself 6,000,000 gold. Its what I always do. I struggle for shekels in real life, I don't need to struggle for shekels for recreation too.
I started playing this again...but it would shut my computer down, Just completely go off without warning. I wondered at first if my PSU was going out..or the Nvidia 3060TI overheating or some shit.
I ran multiple test to disprove those theories...much more intensive graphic tests pushing the 3060 (and so the PSU too)...and figure out it was ONLY happening when play Velheim.
A googling around revealed a few people reporting the same thing with one nerd saying it was caused by a bug in the unity engine...but not a lot of info other than a few posts about it could be found. Most people offer the PSU solution but I've well established mine is fine.
So that's a bag of shit, can't play that no more as the random shut downs (about every 15mins or so) could corrupt my drive etc.

I found a game (Total Annihilation I think) that would cause my 2015 era laptop to overheat and do emergency shutdown. It was strange, it somehow interfered with the fans coming on. The actual game is from 1997 and uses about 1% CPU on a modern system. I found changing that fiddling with the power setting in windows fixed the problem.

Tried the power settings...it's not that/turned down graphics to min specs etc etc .. (mines a water cooled system too).
As mentioned I ran intensive cpu/gpu/ram tests to put them all under a MUCH higher load than this game does and it did fine. Like I say a few people have the same issue and "apparently" it's something to do with the Unity Engine the game uses...apparently not enough people for them to do something about it though...it's very weird.
btw Total Annihilation was/is totally awesome, I used to thrash my stepson at that over local network.
