2021-12-14 at 11:39 PM UTCIf you used to read Archie comics back in the day, they had some extremely ridiculous and fun premises that had nothing to do with typical high school drama bullshit at all.
I have not watched Riverdale nor ever plan to, but the usual criticism I hear of it is that it has some ridiculous and over the top situations and premises... But I guess they never really read Archie that much. -

I like how in the old comix the one black person was unapologetically token. She was mooses (the most dim witted character) girlfriend or something and was only in like one out of every 50 issues and as non threatening as possible -
