Lol, no it isn't...quite the opposite! It's much more freeing to drive an automatic...common sense should tell you that...you are less involved in operating the vehicle, your hand is free, your left foot is free...duh.
That's why I now am an advocate of Automatics....it's easier/freer...lazier.
I was driving home from work last night and the car in front of me..the driver had her left foot up and out of her window resting on the ledge lol...do that in an manual transmission... -

and feels comfortable and reassuring to have a stick to hold on to with my left hand while my right is busy turning and twisting the steering wheel at high and dangerous speeds.
You don't have a car shut up -

They don't have to be doing nothing, you can use one hand to rub the inside of your passengers thigh and the spare leg can be used to kneed bread dough if you put a bowl full of it on the floor of the car. -

Um I can precisely inch my car forward and backward EASIER in an automatic than I can in a manual...fucking lol, where do you come up with the idea having to manipulate a clutch, a brake, an accelerator pedal and a gear stick is easier than just a brake and an accelerator (and the shifter to go into reverse)
Fucking lol
Also do that on a steep hill...the automatic is WAY easier (and safer)
The idea manual is better is again in the realm of 19yr old kids brain who has played too much PS4. -

Your automatic probably has fancy systems to prevent movement, such as rolling backwards when on a hill.
Manual is cheaper, more reliable, and more fuel efficient.
Too bad that you need a car that babysits you. Perhaps electric might be even better. -

A manual vehicle here in the US costs more than an automatic...simple because, again...automatics are made in much higher numbers. and AGAIN I tried to find a manual transmission car (in a configuration I liked) without success and so switch to automatic.
Of course modern autos have computers tweaking everything for you...just as modern Manual transmission cars do too..
Therein lies the problem with this outdated argument...ONCE manual transmission was the better option...but that was 20-30yrs ago...an automatic IS the better option on price/availability/performance/comfort. You have to be pretty retarded these days to "insist" manual is better when clearly it is outclassed in EVERY way by an automatic.
...or you have an extremely small penis and your dad drilled into you that REAL men drive manual...when in fact as mentioned...it's only insecure men with very small willies that dispute the facts of the matter.
Too bad you fall into that category, have you looked into extension surgery?. -

When mine fucked up at 96k I got a new one FREE because I had a 100k warranty on it.
Couldn't have died at a more convenient time! (well I suppose 99k would have been more convenient).
The clutch went out on my manual after 56k and I had to pay for that.
