Using this dumb vigilante logic...If I buy a gun for self defense that technically would make me a vigilante, taking justice into my own hands if the need arose...but I wouldn't be charged if I'm walking down niggaway and a nig comes at me bro with a knife...so I shoot him.
It's the same here...what he was doing there is irrelevant to the actions of a potential attacker. You have the right to be in public...he was exercising that right and was then attacked...he defended himself.
Whether he likes to play cops and robbers is irrelevant to the factoids.

Wrong, the guy that pointed the gun at him and got his bicep blown off fired 3 shots in the air 3.75 seconds before Rosenbaum (the first idiot to take the pavement temperature challenge) chased Rittenhouse into the cornered spot where he got shot when trying to grab Rittenhouse's rifle.

I don't support Trump whatsoever, but Rittenhouse shot those guys in self defense. Everyone is grasping at straws about how he should have stayed home and how the gun was illegal and he crossed state lines and all this shit when what the court is specifically looking at is the instances of the shootings themselves.
Right I’m well aware you don’t support Trump and that wasn’t what I was saying.
What I’m saying is…basically…fuck the police.
I don’t really think people are grasping at straws when they start to try and determine whether or not this was self defense. You might feel that way bc their ideas don’t align with yours.
There are a lot of people who believe Kyle killed these men in self defense, but there are also a lot of people (usually the same people) who think these men deserved to die and that feels prejudiced to me and not for people to decide. Was it self defense or vengeance? If I’m being honest the majority of you guys seem to have a major hard-on leaning towards vengeance and…ok. You’ve broken laws I’m sure. Struggled with substance abuse at some point perhaps? Done things that society might frown upon? So let’s say you get killed. Who the fuck am I to say your life was worthless? It’s not for me to decide. Now that’s not me condoning the actions of the men that were killed by Kyle. I think they should have been punished for their crimes and I think they were in the wrong for what they did, but I still don’t think Kyle should have done what he did that night either.

thats in the air not at him. plenty of poeple shoot in the air look at the taliban or muslims in general and no one goes and has to shoot them for it.

If i get killed trying to shoot a 17 year old in the head who’s running away from me, even my own mother would say I deserved it. Pretty simple.
People have a hard on for this because rarely does karmic justice get doled out so quickly. The same reason videos go viral of schoolyard bullies getting their comeuppance. The contrast between the people burning a city and beating the shit out of people over get another shooting of a scumbag….and a teenager who spent his day cleaning up after the destruction and offering medical aid- is striking.

Well bless his heart. Isn’t he just a model boy scout.
A quick google search shows him punching a chick in the back. This hero on the scene with a first aid kit is just…obnoxious.

I didn't day he was a boy scout. And I haven't seen that video.I said people take special interest in this because when bullies attack someone, we like to see that doesn't go unchecked. You may think it's obnoxious, but unless the hours of footage just missed him screaming the N word and assaulting counter protesters, he actually DID clean the city and aid people.

Oh come on. The implication is very much so that he was a model citizen and that the people he killed were not. Therefore they deserved what happened to them but what is now happening to Kyle is unjust.
It still feels prejudicial to me and starts to stray away from self defense, but I digress.
As far as the bully thing goes: I get it, people are thirsty for blood and karma and I’ve already explained ad nauseam how I feel about the men who were killed, the curfew…blah blah blah.
