We stayed last year during Halloween and I think it’s awesome during that time of year. All the balconies in the French Quarter are decorated and people go overboard with their houses. We ate at a place called Muriel’s and they have a seance room. When you walk up the stairs you can hear this sort of ghostly chant and Lanny asked me if I heard it. Of course I told him I didn’t so the entire breakfast he thinks this place is legit haunted and then when we left he hears the chant on a loop. I thought he was gonna push me down the damn stairs lol. -

Noice. Now I want to take an impulse trip next week. But it will probably have to wait until next year If I want to go on Halloween. -

I think you could totally do it on impulse. New Orleans is easy to figure out if you haven’t been there before. If you go you can just stay in the Quarter and just sort of wander around and find stuff to do. -

Is it still too hot to go around Halloween to New Orleans? My fear is I wouldn't know the area and wander into the 9th ward and I either have to buy crack or get robbed for being there not wanting to buy crack. So then I would be forced into being a crack head and my rental car getting hocked for more crack and living permanently homeless in NOLA -
