Remind how that went again. Nobody was wearing masks. Then someone said they were not needed. Then that same someone turned around and admitted to telling a noble lie and has been telling us that the science says wear masks.

You support masks which is the initial claim by the "science" you follow. So prove that initial claim or go piss up a limp rope sparky.

Number of flu patients admitted to Houston Hospitals in 2020...3, THREE, TTTHHHREEEEE.

    Coincidence?

See the 3rd grade education above your last post to explain further.

Such a large sample you chose for your study. It must be scientific.

If you hack up a green glob of gunk and spit it into a handkerchief…the handkerchief retains 90%+ of the green menace…along with whatever viruses/bacteria/fungus etc etc is encapsulated in said gunk…

Your handkerchief stopped 90% of said gunk from being transmitted. Mask work the same way…they don't fully stop transmission but they reduce it SIGNIFICANTLY.

That's like 3rd grade science and you really don't need to cough up into a handkerchief to figure that out.

It's been over a year and a half and somehow people still don't realize this.

Common sense is knowing the handkerchief scenario...viruses don't float out en-masse of your lungs they come out in (relatively) large droplets of gunk)

    You missed the point again...

normally it is hundreds...in unmasked years...YEAR AFTER YEAR...

    ....first masked year? THRRREEEEEEE

With an airborne virus like a coronavirus, the phlegm and droplets don't matter. The viral particles are so infinitesimal they get suspended in the air itself. Every breath the infected person exhales contains billions of coronavirus particles. And the vapor cloud is also mobile. It can remain in place, or shift position, for up to 30 minutes. That means you only have to breath a few particles of those billions of particles and you are infected. The phlegm and droplets are nothing more than an afterthought; it's immaterial to the scope and ease of the infection. The only way you won't contract the disease is to stop breathing.

Do masks hinder the amount of virus transmission in any way whatsoever ?

    Zero percent.

So if you have Corona and cough into your mask...testing the inside of the mask would show zero % virus? (as the mask would not have stopped it floating away).

    Ok Professor

you are all idiots, if masks didn't work nobody would wear them or make them in the first place you absolute RETARDS

Sure, the mask will stop some particles, but that won't matter, because you've already breathed the person's air and become infected.

Lol..so in your mind 5% of the virus going into the atmosphere is just as dangerous as 100%? Someone doesn't know how things work...

You are in a crowd...you aren't wearing a mask, 100 viruses escape your mouth and infect the closest 100 people...conveniently 1 virus per person.

You are in a crowd...you ARE wearing a mask, 5 viruses escape your mask and infect the closest 5 people...

Result? the mask wearer had a 95% less transmission rate.

It only takes a 0.00000001 transmission rate to infect someone.

KEYWORD highlighted...again re-read the crowd scenario...the more virus in the air the more people get infected...the less virus in the air the less people get infected...it's simple math.
