Entered jail weighing about 150 160… left weighing 240…I’m 6’6”…
Worked out everyday and would flip a card and do push-ups to whatever number I got..
By the end I would do a whole deck of cards a day and had hella books as weights to put in my box and curl and lifted constantly at my maintenance jail job
Hardest part then was obtaining protein to eat so the 65 we were allowed to spend on commissary every week went to ramen for calories and mackerel for protein.
It changed my life for the better that’s for sure, but I’m never going back fuck that
How long have you been clean? I hope you can manage to stay that way.
The closest "living dead" I ever saw was back in college when I did two practicums at City Jail and saw a guy getting clean the hard way. Not a pretty sight. -

124 So. 14th Street. I've still got a piece of "jail money" around here somewhere. It is black plastic with scalloped edges but I don't remember the denomination.
I spent one day working at the "Workhouse" and liked it a lot less than the jail. Besides, the jail still had the old trap door on the third (or fourth) floor for when they used to do executions there. -

I’m literally in the hospital... hence the lack of ability to keep an iv in me (vancomycin is hard on veins, and they’ve already fucked everything up setting ivs with ultrasound like now they can’t get a picc line in) and how I’m aware that I’ve got MRSA swimming in my blood supply
. Also need a transfusion however I don’t accept blood (too afraid one of you niggers donates A+ blood)

All I have going for me is I’m a DNR/DNI Although I’m having to tell every fucker to go fuck themselves that I don’t want blood or resesitation if my heart fails or intubation if I stop breathing thank fuck I got my living will shit figured out years ago -
