2021-08-30 at 4:45 PM UTCNo, some people hear low frequency better than others. But those are primary .. secondary is the sound wave that moves the ground. This is why MyShakeAp first used in Japan and been available in Cali for a few years can warn you if a quake 2-3 minutes if you're like 60 miles away. Mach 1 takes 5-6 seconds per mile

It's very valuable, actually. When you're dirt poor, you truly learn real life lessons. The experience is extremely educational. So when you do hit the big time, you also have that layer of the understanding of what it is to be truly unfortunate. -

This latest one was listed as "unsurviable"…because the powers that be like to exaggerate…it ended up being relatively minor as far as people dying goes.

If you can find a field away from buildings then stay in the center covering your head while sitting down and then ride it out. Otherwise a small closet, bathroom in a tub or shower if no glass doors, or under the strongest table or desk. Generally when floors cave in, these areas have the most survival rate from being completely crushed. Also, emergency exit stairs. Usually survive. -

The problem is usually the rain anyway…50 inches in 1 day when Hurricane Harvey hit Houston 48 inches when Alison hit…we didn't cry like bitches though.
You guys live in flat areas.. we might only get 5 inches but we have thick clay that won't soak up and turns into rivers overflowing and then 2-3 story buildings under water like new Orleans during the levee break.
