People live their whole lives in California and not experience more than a small 4.5 or 5.0 quake. Then suddenly you may have 3-4 size 6.5 or larger in the next 30 years. So people stay.
Same logic goes for hurricanes...people have stayed through 20 or 30 of them and been fine...
This latest one was listed as "unsurviable"...because the powers that be like to exaggerate...it ended up being relatively minor as far as people dying goes.

well if the population of 100 is only 5% vaccinated, then it wouldnt matter since it is impossible to have more than 5 vaccinated people on ICU or dead.
It's not...the population is 100,000 which is 50% vaccinated.
Room 1 has 95 people in it - unvaccinated
Room 2 had 5 people in it - vaccinated

I think you were/are assuming all the patients = the population...obviously it doesn't/isn't. It reflects what happens to those who contract it...and are or are not vaccinated. -
