2021-09-10 at 9:20 PM UTCDunkirk was a great example of what would have met Hitler had he tried to invade...civilians in tiny boats voluntarily ferrying back and forth across the channel, EVERYONE participated.
Had Hitler actually invaded every Brit in the land would be fighting, not just the armed forces...that's the difference as demonstrated at Dunkirk where everyone helped out.
