Life is contradictory...however the fact remains...you can not give a fuck about your appearance and still put a suit on to "fit in" with a situation that is advantageous to you. A person can "not give a fuck about their appearance"...but CAN give a fuck about how others perceive them...think hard now.
Appearance and professionalism are 2 separate things...though in the minds of SOME they are related.
As such you'd wear a suit to satisfy those people..while still hating the fact you are wearing a suit yourself.

Wrong, I might care about how someone perceives me professionally as that directly affects my ability to make $$$$. That doesn't mean I care if they or I like the shirt I'm wearing and think I look cute in it.
