    they said a "Slab Avalanche" which is a sheet of ice versus built up snow. and this came rushing down and the excessive wind blew clothing off some of them. and the sheet of ice turned into shards of glass like sharpness and may have caused the surface injuries which looked as if they were attacked by bears or wolves. I was reading another source.

    You would think in this day and age there would be enough data and simular comparisons to something that happens somewhere in the mountains of the world yearly. not in the same area yearly but somewhere.

    one day it will sadly happen again and it will be obviously close to that of what happened here. or maybe it will only mirror what happened and as you stated, is why it doesnt explain the injuries properly

    there is no mystery about that incident anymore, they had to run away in a hurry because their tent was directly below the avalanche and half of them died trying to run back to the tent to retrieve their clothes after it died down.

    after how many weeks? the rescue squad didnt come right away, the weather was way too harsh. some of the bodies took months to recover because the snow was way too deep.
