Well yeah they can and many have/do. It's called herd immunity. An example of that is when you expose a population to a virus/bacteria etc that they've had no contact with...Native Americans and small pox for example...it decimated them because they had no herd immunity. -

Theoretical not fact...and again it's been 65/66 million years since an *Asteroid* killed anything...the odds should be determined with that number involved...you'll see that 1 in 200k to to a much higher number.

The recovery rate is irrelevant if trying to avoid illness…as I mentioned above, the time I had REAL flu was hell, I don't want to go through that again even though I 100% recovered from it…if a simple shot or two can help me avoid that then I'm going to take it.
