I have ADHD as well and don't have trouble reading long articles if they're written in engaging/accessible ways. I have trouble reading long posts/PMs. I have to have a few things going on at once in order to be able to focus on one thing. I usually have music going and am on my phone and usually at least one other thing while posting. -

Slow Release. the concept is to stimulate a part of your brain to speed up where another is going to fast.. but to that of the hyperactive brain waves that make you incapable of focusing. you would think they would give you xanax but they dont. It doesnt slow the minds attention speed but your bodies reaction speed. they´re two different things. you can be completely sedated but still have a racy mind. so the concept is to speed you up just enough for the two to sync. Thats how it was explain to me.
and I have been really groggy and lethargic but my mind is racing a mile a second. its the way it works. people who have slow minds or well adjusted thinking wont benefit from adderall. instead it just gets their bodies high.
I seem slow but the truth is I cant keep up with thoughts going on all of the time and causing confusion and might be part of my memory issues. -
