Jesus was a jedi, and most jedis are pretty darn white. Remember that to be a jedi is you trace your bloodline back to Abraham or something, and to be white is simply to have white skin. Therefore, someone can be both white and a jedi. -

Well, and I'm generalizing a lot here, we have the three Abrahamic faiths which basically agree on the same god. That consolidates three different conceptions of the divine. If we throw in their philosophical roots and any offshoots since their founding (i.e. Gnosticism, neoplatonism, the many forms of modern Catholicism, etc.) I think it's far greater. Still, there are too many religions for any number I can give to be valid. -

Intuition points to it being a white guy and since Jesus was white he seems like a good profit. But we aren't worshiping his God if we follow the bible, we worship an interpretation of his God.
I just really don't want to worship the wrong God and end up getting screwed over in the afterlife.

The Mosaic Law was originally designed to set the Israelites apart from the other tribes around them. God gave them a specific set of laws to be 'pure' or 'better'. When Christ came he specifically said he was there to fulfill the law, not abolish it. That meant, the law as it was wasn't garbage, it was just no longer necessary.
Also, yeah, a bunch of things were metaphors. But, Paul said directly that are given the freedom to basically do as they please as long as they don't break any moral laws. The example he gave was eating food that had been sacrificed to idols. Before, that was a huge no-no (remember Daniel and his pals), but after Christ, it's a-ok.

You can see indicators of Christ essentially taking the place of the law in the prophecies in Hebrews as well. The Old Testament clearly points to a time when the Mosaic Law will no longer be necessary. Example: Hebrews 7:23-24 -
