I would say half the people in Africa speak a language near full time other than their own.. such as dutch, french, english and spanish. but if they spoke Swahili and I had a need to ask.. then yes.

Do you recommend Babble from google? They keep sending me info about the Spanish I was trying to learn. I might do it. But would you recommend watching spanish Soaps or Children shows like ABC-123 Seasame Street stuff? or just try to push and go through basic learning -

I recommend watching shows with child actors. Latina lolitas are bonita. But i really don't know, i think you should just try to consume media in the language you are trying to learn. I learned a bunch of Japanese just watching anime, true story. -

Fun fact: The Russian word for 'German' is essentially 'mute' because historically speaking, none of the Germans who came over to Russia could speak the language, so they just stayed silent. -

The only thing that sucks about Russian so far for me has been the cases and pronunciation of г. It seems to change randomly.
The Cyrillic betabet was much easier to learn than I expected it to be. And I love the way the Russian language looks and sounds -
