Not really, just a screen with the numbers minus the # & * keys and a button for "Emergency calls" is all. Then at the bottom it says "No sim - No service". I don't even know which network if any its locked to.
My model is not even on that list and came out over a year before that fredWhich devices are supported?
Currently
• Xperia M4 Aqua
• Xperia C4
• Xperia Z4 Tablet

if by chance you had enabled debugging mode on the phone then you should also be able to plug it in to a computer that has android sdk tools installed and use 'adb reboot bootloader' or 'adb reboot recovery' like soph said
Tried up and down. When using up it gives three short buzzes every couple of seconds but eventually just starts up normally. When using down button it just starts the phone.

Hold until the buzz. No bueno? Hold until the second. See if that makes a difference. There is a purpose to the buzzing just like the bleep bloops your computer makes when starting have a meaning to them. -

I tried all sorts, first buzz, second, even just holding it for a couple of minutes. Makes no difference from what I can tell.
What you think of this tho

Im phone-retarded so does anyone know how to bypass the login password screen? i'm hoping it doesnt encrypt shit.
You stole a phone so no way.
Also, if you can't figure out her passcode then it shuts it down. the only way is a machine that the phone carrier would have to unlock it and those machines have access to the files.
it requires it being hooked up to apples website at the same time via the usb and an official register at the phone store.
if it was a samsung or other android, no problem. but there is a software that you can plug it into a laptop and not unlock it but see the file directory. wont work if it's Encrypted though
so try giving it back to her. maybe she will be so happy "you found it" that she'll get nakie for you
