The reading for the individual never changes but it's still the top of the universally accepted scale...not baseline.

A man deposits $1 million into a zero interest zero fees bank account. He leaves it there for 30yrs at which point he withdraws the $1 million.
The bank account was "flatlined" the whole time...per the definition it didn't increase, it remained static.
Now...$1 million is "top of the scale" as far a bank balances goes for other humans...so it was flatlined the whole time...(say it slowly) ...but at the top of the scale...
Was that simple enough for you to understand?? -

Yes...the topic is being flatlined on a defined scale (a scale I defined). The example exemplified that perfectly. I tried to make it as simple as possible but apparently not simple enough for a -990
