Goes right the fuck back to doing crack, gets said cancer or whatever again, and is bedridden in the hospital where she trades her pain meds for crack to her siblings and ends up dying from it.
And the other is doing fine but barely maintains contact with the rest of the family (understandably)
Her sister is a welfare leech who does nothing but complain to her on the phone for four hours a day
Her mother might as well have just committed suicide by chain smoking cigarettes and taking a bottle of ibuprofen per day all while refusing to eat
Her husband is a truck driver so is never around
Her niece is a drug addict prostitute who decided she was going to go clean and Godly, and moved in. Then she decided, fuck it, take advantage of all my grandmother's hospitality, then move the fuck back to Indiana and do what she was doing before
Satanism runs rampant on her side of the family so she is basically ostracized from the rest of her family
She has a-fib and stress seems to worsen it,and everybody knows this but no one cares
I am her sole source of comfort but I work night shift and I have my own problems anyway, but I'm not allowed to drink
I do anyway, and I'm pretty sure she knows it, but unlike the rest of the family I'm not a complete fucking retard when I drink so I don't cause any problems

So are we supposed to feel bad for a woman who managed to fuck up her kids to the point they're drunks, junks and one of them even killed himself? Sounds like she made her bed, and the time has come to lay in it.

What are the strengths?
If you haven't eaten already today you should eat a bit. Apparently ibuprofen is bad for you on an empty stomach and can give you ulcers but I'm not sure how common it is or likely to happen -

I went through a phase of reading TiA a lot because I was bored and it was amusing. Just wait until they start having children, if you're lucky and they don't flat out move out they might finally have time to see you irregularly after a few years. Even then there's a good chance you won't want to talk to them or anyone that was from your workplace and returned after parental leave because they spout a disproportionate amount of absolutely mundane anecdotes about their children because evolution designed people to feel theirs are special, to ruminate. Of course fixating on a baby will increase its survival rate. Brain scans show behavior in regions that looks just like severe OCD. I was disgusted with it since puberty and so far have not changed my mind. If you only knew what I knew after locking myself away for years, before losing all interest in the world. Ny current judgement is that even romantic love is unjust. If you only knew the horror that underlies almost all human activity, countless facts detailing the worthlessness of humanity.
Fortunately there's an effective method for dealing with the inevitable anguish of living a brief life in an absurd world.
Along with 1mg clonazepam in the morning, some cannabinoids, and amphetamine if I need an energy boost for the day. Will power alone can't beat everything, it's a pretty childish and crude thought. I got pulled over by a cop on my way home from work tonight. After running my information he said he was looking for a car that matches my car's description exactly, but it wasn't me because he could tell my damage had been there a while. This car had hit someone, drove off, and apparently the driver was driving with a suspended license.
Tl;dr: my neighbor probably hit somebody while driving with a suspended license and then ran lel -

Thankfully the cop didn't freak out about it because as soon as I saw it I closed the glove box and put my hands back on the steering wheel and explained the situation
He gave me the "you're supposed to tell me about carrying a gun immediately" talk but it was all good and I'm not sure he even actually saw it because he asked where it was
I'm lucky he didn't ask to search the car because my car is a mess and I had a bag of beer cans under the passenger seat that I'd long forgotten about lel
