2020-10-26 at 11:01 AM UTCDon't get me wrong, It's good to do cardio to keep ur system strong. i love cardio. But resistance training is futile if you don't eat the right things, with the right frequency.

2020-10-26 at 11:11 AM UTCLet's be honest... at age 49 you've lost a lot of testosterone. I'm 43 and have lost a lot, also. That makes it much more difficult. That's partly why Larry can pound out the sets n the reps... is because hes got youth on his side. The older a man gets, the more susceptible he is to overtraining.

Lots of cardio w/ swimming & bike work, when I started dropping weight for my work last year I dropped 45-50#'s very quickly/too quickly via sub 1000 calorie days w/ fasting & intensive biking also no alcohol for like 8 months. I hit my target weight & started lifting, now I'm picking up weight but it's muscle not fat. BMI 23.0 now it's just building everything up a bit & weight training press(overhead & bench) goals of doing reps w/ my body weight are achieved. -

My testosterone is in the range of a 28-34 year old as confirmed via work physicals lol. I take super good care of my thyroid & endocrine system. Don't class me in with what you think you know son.
PS :
You can't have sets without reps lol. -

Can't you find something better to troll me about over a 2 year difference? i know you're just trying to denigrate my credibility, but still... I'm honest about everything else in my life and I don't brag. im 43. why i would lie about that? age is dumb to lie about, Unless you're trying to poke a young broad. -

You've constantly insinuated or assumed shit about me here. You know nothing of my testosterone level nor of my overall health but you felt you knew enough to make a thread about it. I know/get your style of troll man, the unassuming passive aggressive nice guy act lol.
Do you as I'm doing me & my way works for me. -

You're an ectomorph, Douglas. Your metabolism is very high and it's extremely difficult for you to put on weight, fat or muscle. You would have to consume significantly more calories than you burn, to get buff. However, it's obvious that you don't care about your physical or your mental health. -

Fair enough. But its not an act, on my part. I like to try to generate serious, thought- provoking, helpful conversation sometimes. Isnt that a good thing? Im multi-dimensional. -
