    you'd never make it through the easiest (national guard) snypurrrr course...much less the prerequisite classifications to get qualified for it. altho, I believe in the current military all branches go thru the same course with specialization taking place dedicate to the particular branch and/or unit. and what the shot is a 'super long range rifle'

    Also yee of little faith, i am a pretty decent shot, even though i have only shot firearms two times in my life ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    you're the type that tries to sign up for something like bud/s...rangers...delta...whatever...for the reason of being cool. then once you're in the first week of training...which isn't training...then realize it hurts and isn't fun...you drop out.

    Barret isn't used as much as .338 or a .416. it's a lot harder to get a .50 to be as accurate when transsonic at extreme ranges.

    Guess what, shit was mandatory back in the day here. It was called "Fahnenflucht" (Fleaing of the flag) and then the "Feldjäger" (Field hunters) would literally hunt you down and you'd get locked up until you did your service.

    I was among the last where that practice still applied.
