How many people here are actually religious?

2017-03-11 at 1:25 AM UTCIf you WANT to believe in the scripture you can certainly do it. It's not like there aren't millions of people who claim to be Christians. You can make very convincing arguments for its interpretation and all that, but at the end of the day there is a greater logic that supersedes and supposed logic that comes from making sense of the teachings of the Bible. To put it more simply, Dr. Suess has some awesome life teachings but there's no reason to believe he's some great creator of all things, and if he claimed it, we would dismiss him.

The Holy books are all written by men, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. There are also Eastern religions which have a prophet like figure. I choose not to follow anything led by a human man I focus more on God itself and the world and universe around me.
Perhaps another prophet has/is yet to come? Rastafarianism and other new religions believe so.

THey never had plans to mass produce 1000 AK 47's though which takes a lot of complicated machinery and lots of money and investment compared to a few well trained gunsmith hobbyists which are all over the USA and its especially easy when you live in a country with basically zero gun laws so you can buy anything and make stuff, and material is plentiful.
The Japanese group lived in one of the most weapons and chemical restricted countries on earth and they are still able to get close to producing large amounts of both.
Both groups are pretty neat though. -

Well ol' God claims to have inspired all of the men that wrote the Bible, conveniently, so that no matter who said what it can be claimed that it was 'breathed from God himself.'
There's a verse in the Bible that states God isn't the author of confusion. That one verse alone speaks goddamn volumes considering how confusing and debatable it actually is. -

2017-03-11 at 1:33 AM UTCYes but its pretty easy for anyone to say "God inspired me" but I do take look at these three religions seriously in historical context. They are important in human history, you can hate religion all you want but its important.

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Both groups are pretty neat though. The Branch Davidians were well armed with small arms,[108][109] possessing 305 total firearms, including numerous rifles (semi-automatic AK-47s and AR-15s), shotguns, revolvers and pistols;[65][70][110] 2 .50 caliber weapons with armor-piercing ammunition[not in citation given] and 46 semi-automatic firearms modified to fire in full automatic mode (included on above list): 22 AR-15 (erroneously referred to as M16), 20 AK-47, 2 HK SP-89, 2 M-11/Nine[70][110] Texas Rangers reported "at least 16 AR-15 rifles,";[65] 2 AR-15 lower receivers modified to fire in full automatic mode;[110] 39 "full auto sears" devices used to convert semi-automatic weapons into automatic weapons; parts for fully automatic AK-47 and M16 rifles; 30-round magazines and 100-round magazines for M16 and AK-47 rifles; pouches to carry large ammunition magazines; substantial quantities of ammunition of various sizes.
Other items found at the compound included about 1.9 million rounds of "cooked off" ammunition;[65] grenade launcher parts; flare launchers; gas masks and chemical warfare suits; night vision equipment; hundreds of practice hand grenade hulls and components (including 200+ inert M31 practice rifle grenades, 100+ modified M-21 practice hand grenade bodies, 219 grenade safety pins and 243 grenade safety levers found after the fire);[110] Kevlar helmets and bulletproof vests; 88 lower receivers for the AR-15 rifle; and approximately 15 sound suppressors or silencers (the Treasury reports lists 21 silencers,[110] Texas Rangers report that at least six items had been mislabeled and were actually 40 mm grenades or flash bang grenades from manufacturers who sold those models to the ATF or FBI exclusively;[111][112] former Branch Davidian Donald Bunds testified he had manufactured silencers under direct orders of Koresh).[40]
Agreed on both groups being badass
And we'll have to wait to see if Aum ever have a battle with federal authorities
That should be good -

Right. I'm familiar. Not that you're necessarily doing this but a lot of Christians like to quote scripture to defend their beliefs, when of course that makes no sense as what is being debated is the validity of scripture itself. -

2017-03-11 at 1:58 AM UTCDon't argue the existence of God or your Dogma with anyone. It's an endless headache of explaining faith base.
It's a baited and loaded question.

2017-03-11 at 2 AM UTCLittle grave I am grieving
I will mend you
Sweet revenge I am dreaming
I will end you
I've been here since dawn of time
Countless hatreds built my shrine
I was born in anger's flame
He was Abel, I was Cain
I am here
I'm hell unbound
Burn your kingdom to the ground
To the ground
Here comes revenge
Just for you
Revenge
You can't undo
Revenge
It's killing me
Revenge
Set me free
Eye for an eye
Tooth for a tooth
A life for a life
It's my burden of proof
Revenge
Just for you
Revenge
You ask forgiveness, I give you sweet revenge
I return this nightmare
I will find you
Sleepless, cloaked in despair
I'm behind you
Man has made me, oh, so strong
Blurring lines of right and wrong
Far too late for frail amends
Now it's come to sweet revenge
Desperate hands
That lose control
Have no mercy on your soul
On your soul
Here comes revenge
Just for you
Revenge
You can't undo
Revenge
It's killing me
Revenge
Just set me free
Eye for an eye
Tooth for a tooth
A life for a life
It's my burden of proof
Revenge
Just for you
Revenge
You ask forgiveness, I give you sweet revenge
Sweet revenge
