It was like 20 miles. No?
Also while the kid had a rifle on display, he also had a first aid kit over his other shoulder. I think if we're going to vilify him for open carry, we need to at least praise him equally as a hero for bringing a first aid kit to help people. In fact, I think the presence of a first aid kit makes it pretty fucking stupid to act like his intentions were just to "agitate" and "start shit". I don't think he went there looking for a confrontation, so much as he went there commendably prepared for one. -

It was a little more than that but he still crossed state lines...like I'm supposed to know how fucking far flyover american towns in different states are from each other.
I agree packing a med kid does seem to be a mitigating factor and I'm certain his naivete is a huge factor in all of this. The kid clearly isn't an aggressive type but was clearly packing for whatever he expected to happen. He wasn't going as a "neutral" type, "white helmet (chortle)" if you will but went and hung around some older armed vigilantes he had probably talked with online and was there to take a side, even if he had a med kit, perhaps he planned on using it altruistically (while being interviewed by the daily caller he called out to some protesters who looked hurt but that could have been for the camera.
Either way, it's pretty clear the kid was on a specific side, as literally everyone there was on, even the media, it's just a shame 3 lives were lost during it -

2020-08-28 at 3:31 AM UTCexcellent article
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/27/us/kyle-rittenhouse-kenosha-shooting-video.html
A handgun was fired a moment before kyle turned and fired. If he's convicted of anything more than manslaughter then his prosecution is 100% politically motivated and it's a sin so many people's lives fall into the hands of what's to gain politically. -

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1m9sDjYr1Nj_fpFr9bTycWPG8tS2aPDeL/viewDr. Kelley of the Milwaukee Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy on Joseph
Rosenbaum. Dr. Kelley indicated that Rosenbaum had a gunshot wound to the right groin which
fractured his pelvis, a gunshot wound to the back which perforated his right lung and liver, a
gunshot wound to the left hand, a superficial gunshot wound to his lateral left thigh, and a graze
gunshot wound to the right side of his forehead.
looks like the lethal shot came from the back, meaning it might've actually been his friend that fired it -

I saw some memes that stated either Rosenbaum or Anthony Huber were also a sex offender but haven't been able to find anything to verify
There were apparently 16 gunshots heard during the first exchange, 4 came from rittenhouse, one from some guy with a pistol firing it in the air and I guess 11 unaccounted for -

I'm terrible with names but it was the guy who took a shot to the head - I saw a screencap of his record, apparently it's been locked or taken down for the moment.
He's on the registry because he banged a 15 year old when he was 18 from what I can gather, no way to tell whether it was actually a rape because of the way those cases are registered/prosecuted -

Google wisconsin sex offender registry. You can look it up yourself. Rosenbaum is on there. Havent personally verified Huber, but from what ive seen, multiple domestic abuse charges. Even the third guy was apparently a convicted felon. What are the odds? This kid is going to end up with a suspended sentence. Almost everything is going in his favor. -

2020-08-28 at 7:13 AM UTCLike in every day life, not even in NA meetings could you reach out and touch 3 convicted felons at once. Truly incredible to see BLMs vanguard is made up of violent sexual offenders coming out to protest the shooting of another violent sex offender.

2020-08-28 at 8:41 AM UTCmaybe there's something about Chunk from The Goonies that makes felons irrationally angry

The ratios comparing Black and white incidence rates of fatal police encounters were “markedly high” and “nearly all statistically significant,” the authors wrote: The Chicago metro area had the largest racial inequity in police killings, with Black people 6.5 times more likely to be killed by police than white people. These ratios were also high in the metropolitan areas of San Francisco; New York; St. Louis, Mo., Columbus, Ohio; Milwaukee, Wis.; Trenton, N.J.; Asheville, N.C.; Dayton, Ohio; and Reno, Nev., ranging from 4.3 to 5.9 times more likely.

How many times do you have to be told not to state things are facts without providing any citations? Also, getting shot by ANY cop is the problem and speaks to an issue with policing and the social contract, not necessarily just a white/black dichotomy -
