2020-08-27 at 3:43 AM UTCAround here cops shoot people in stolen cars all the time and a guy I was in jail with (apparently) tried to run over a cop who set up a road block, then turned around and shot him in the back of the head. The guy was white and this doesn't seem justified but there was 0 public outcry. There was another shooting at someone in a stolen car last night and cops shot out glass from a stolen car outside my building last year, then left glass in the street where children play. Cops are just negligent dickish pieces of shit.
Also, that kid should get manslaughter for at least one of the bodies, the second one looked a little careless and indiscriminate but the first one should only get him 5 or so years. It's a shame he's 17 and will certainly be charged as an adult. -

I think they're lying through their teeth. We also hear how an "official" is speaking for the victim and saying he admitted to having a knife, like we're supposed to believe some "official" had a friendly fireside chat with a guy with 8 bullets in him and the guy just non-nonchalantly confessed he was armed. The problem is the kid drove hundreds of miles to a protest with an illegal firearm then drove right back. This shows premeditation and evading capture and it's likely a judge will throw the book at him for it, the same way they would throw it at a black person in the same circumstances. I was just saying it was funny he walked right past the cops with the gun around him while if he was black they definitely wouldn't have let him. They had already recived reports about gunfire too. He doesn't seem like too bad a kid who made some poor choices that resulted in tragedy. I hope he gets out of jail in a few years and can salvage some of his life.
there'll be more riots if he got off easily.

get fucking real kid. It was a provokative action to cross state lines with a rifle to attend a protest. A gas station has nothing to do with this. He was being hit with a skateboard and other things, not incendiary devices, get your story straight. He put himself in that situation literally looking for conflict, found it and escalated it.
He wasnt "valiently defending a gas station for the poor mom and pop shop of exxonmobil" he was a police loving cuck kid with more balls than brains who went to a conflict zone to cause more conflict and defended himself when confronted.
