   I just bought some replacement pads for 8 track tapes this morning on ebay. The foam pads rot after 40yrs and need to be replaced...I'm not using them for 8 track tapes though but for Sinclair microdrive cartridges which are pretty much the same design only smaller so I'll have to cut them smaller when they arrive.
   
   I have about 100 such cartridges that need the pads replacing.
