Well at the end of the day we're all parroting someone. You didnt just come into this world and have your views based of nothing. The term 'well-read' is a term for a reason. Weirdly I have thought about this concept. Basically with rape, like when a person gets raped generally it's a huge deal. Their whole essence has changed. I AM A RAPE VICTIM. IT ABSOLUTELY RUINED ME. IT SHATTERED MY LIFE. NOTHING WILL EVER BE THE SAME FOR ME ANYMORE.
Like, that gives more power to potential rapers and sets up future rapees to automatically feel victimized and shamed and traumatized.
I just got raped. And now I HAVE to feel like it was a huge life changing ordeal. I HAVE TO. everyone else that got raped before me was super traumatized so I have to feel that way too. I cant be normal now.
But then at the same time if people just accepted rape as not a big deal, that might make people also do more rapes. So I don't know. I'm just saying thoughts and I'm not condoning rape whoever reads this and thinks I'm condoning rape.
