My thought process is generally occams razor.
There would be no possible comceivable reason to find a body double for someone most cops fucking HATE, whose prints are on file anyway. So this doppelganger is just gonna do time for Chauvin too? Are they gonna swap places every few weeks? Where does Real Boy Derrek go? An island somewhere? Facial reconstructive surgery?
Makes zero fucking sense. Not everything is a conspiracy. -

FOX tried to play it up with the US/CHAZ border but its not even an anarchy thing and nobody is trying to do that except one idiot rapper who evidently isnt part of it anymore.
It's just a weird ass area people set up and the cops decided to leave alone for now to avoid confrontation. That's it. They'll all get bored and it will fizzle out and be forgotten. Nobody is gonna be a martyr for CHAZ or anything. -

Only 16% want to so much as cut funding. Republicans still voted at a hefty 15%. This was conducted through Yahoo so the real life percentage is probably far lower.
Also you know anyone can submit something for publication to NY Times right? One person's opinion doesn't mean most or even a considerable amount of people hold that viewpoint. I mean look at that fucking articleI’ve been advocating the abolition of the police for years.
That is not a common opinion by far lol. The majority want reform. Some people want to see budget cuts. I've yet to see any polls actually showing that people want to defund the police entirely. Those people are usually just anarchists and they wanted this shit before they had ever heard of George Floyd. -
