I don't see why being against his behavior has any leftist value. Trump acts like a child. The idea of him dealing with iffy foreign affairs is troublesome to think about. Any other Republican, I could have respect for, but holy shit CALM YOUR FUCKING SHIT TRUMP.

I expect he's going to be loud and push for some dumb tax cuts with very limited success and I expect he's going to start his reelection campaign early. I expect him to be a Nixonesqe sort of morally bereft but my prefered candidate wasn't exactly a shining star of integrity. Ultimately the world will go on.

One upside of this is that there's this annoying manager at work, not mine but I sit across from her and get to listen to her hound people in a loud nasally whine over dumb stuff all day every day. She's said repeatedly that she's definitely moving to Canada if Trump wins. I kinda want to walk in tomorrow with a "make america great again" hat on and ask her when her flight is.

The reality is I have very few needs and desires/goals, and therefore choose to take the easiest path, riding a drug induced haze until the singularity arrives or one day the tech gods bring a real to wash away all this suffering.
