I'm sure it's been written about before, but what if instead a human became the "core", was augmented and able to utilize the machine(ry). Then on the date when a human was set to be merged, you could storm the building and force them to use you instead. This assuage concerns about the continuity of your consciousness/life with post-AGI assimilation or mind uploading.
Another scenario for violent infiltration would be to force them to free a contained AGI. There would be bound to be someone who supported this, but was widely overruled, humans being the irrational cowards that they are. Find the most prominent person, one knowledgeable and intelligent enough to do so, and tell him it will be clear he had no choice and was doing it under threat of death. In fact, have a deadman's switch set up that will cause mass death and suffering if you are killed or they instead execute a security sequence that will erase it or block methods for freeing it.
I've genuinely wanted to become some form of terrorist since a teenager.

I recall you remarking on this with regard to programming, how in your experience East-Asians were more capable/willing to code for hours on end, x lines, but a white coder was most likely to develop a workaround that made that extra effort unnecessary. At the end you voiced that it sounded somewhat racist (nip nip nip). Have you faced antagonism for Asians in your career? Awfully hard workers and good yes men, aren't they? I imagine they could have been frustrated to you pecker-woods since your university days, particularly considering how prevalent they are in the bay area.
Did you know that in the US the average income for East Asian females is about the same as that of white males? And of course the household income is considerably higher, along with superior performance on multiple other measures. -

Not at all, I didn't even know it was a serious slur. I've only really heard it used in English speaking Japanese fandom circles used jokingly. I haven't worked with many first generation (or culturally) south east asians but the couple that I have I have a lot of respect for. -

2016-10-26 at 5:18 AM UTCI hate wearing clothes, but it's getting a bit too chilly to continue being naked. I wanted a thermal nightshirt/nightgown for men, but the selection is too limited. I don't necessarily have a problem with wearing women's clothing, especially since I'm a hiki and no one will pester me about it (What lies beyond humanity? True freedom.), although the designs are awful, but I'm not sure if even clothing adjusted for size will fit me properly.
I think I'll just go for a thermal/fleece bathrobe instead. No interest in imitating "The Dude", it just has the highest selection. I suppose the design will make peeing in the sink easier, although I could just lift the nightgown up and hold it with my chin, but I don't really like the belt aspect. Definitely want a burgundy/red and black color scheme. -

I already knew my extreme level of prolonged social isolation (Normally I probably say less than 10 words a month on average to another person verbally/IRL) had wide ranging pronounced effects.
