I feel I need to simplify things.
SWIM make quite a bit of money, his phone is always blowing up, has a big dick and several vehicles, a girlfriend much younger and more attractive than him, numerous other female who want to experience his penis, numerous high powered tools, a chain worth the cost of a new honda civic blah blah brag brag, hes horribly unhappy and unsatisfied with life. He feels miserable and like a bad and lost person a lot of the time. He feels parts of himself are missing. He really just wants to live in the woods like the unabomber and live hand to mouth, at least seasonally.
He wakes up and feels empty and craves things he knows he shouldnt partake in. He enjoys spending time with people he likes and really not much else. Is simplification the answer? Asking for a whiney faggot friend

It is kind of freeing to be able to classify something as "mental illness" and depression then you know youre not just stuck in a permanent state, although that can be hard to believe sometimes. Realizing this can be very hard

Get your mental illness officialized on record so that you cannot refuse medical treatment, depression drugs do make you dependent and as you develop resistance get progressively less powerful, leading you to a certain dead end and early death, which is what you really want.

SWIY seems to wish he could live in a paradise where nothing ever hurts and people only ever feel good. To be dull, comfortably numb. He doesn't want to live life, he just wants to be sedated. But that isn't happiness. That isn't good. That's pathetic and sad, and childish. To be truly happy and content just live in the moment and be a real, full person. Take the good with the bad, as much as it hurts because that's what makes life feel worth living. Tell him to face life head on, and not to numb himself to it like some child sucking his thumb.
