Ratio requirement is pretty low, like 0.4 or something the catch is there's also a hit and run requirement which is that you need to seed for seed time of 72 hours, plus an additional 5 hours per GB of the torrent's size over 10GB OR until a given torrent hits positive ratio. Generally if you can avoid HnRs you can keep a ratio, you can always grab stuff on FL for a ratio boost, but you have to be able to make the 72h to be viable.

Does Mein Kraft work on Linux? I mean, it fucking should, it's a big bunch of java in a jar file. Haven't tried it on Linux tbh though. -

It works on Arch apparently, i am reasonably sure it should run on my flavor of Ubuntu as well. Now, i think i have the JavaSDK or open sauce alternative, but, it would appear that official version that is released for Linux only supports the 'classical' game therefore i am not sure whether i have all current block types and whether or not i can just up and join a server that is running on a later patch.
Anyway, for anyone on *nix here are some steps you should take if you want to run Minecraft.
Get your java dependencies.
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install oracle-java8-installer
And get the jar for linux.

I will look into it, Minecraft is fun solo as well if all else fails. -
