most of my posts here have been from my phone
plus the microsd and removable battery things make the phone serviceable for those needs and issues -

After that it was a Google Play Edition ROM (can't remember whose) with ktoonsez' KT kernel.
I always kept a TouchWiz based but cleaner ROM due to the lack of MultiWindow in AOSP (I know Xposed had some options but they weren't as good as MultiWindow). FireKAT was my shit purely because if you remember, I used to love writing some long ass posts, and all my Zokletting was done on my phone due to my work, and by some magic, they fucked with the scheduler in a way that prevented memory flushes for certain apps (e.g. they stopped Chrome from flushing tabs), meaning I would no longer lose my entire written post when Chrome randomly decides to refresh the page. And they did this while maintaining performance and amazing battery life. -
2017-02-15 at 5:21 AM UTCScore! Gonna get a Note 5, Gear VR version 2, and wireless charger for $200. Also bought this cooling fan, which works great, should be able to use it as long as I want with it: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Cooling-COMPATIBLE-consumer-built/dp/B01KPTSQ4W

Okay for $200 for all of that, one cannot argue with that purchase. Well done boy. Can you find out the exact model before you get it? Different models can have different situations as far as bootloader locks etc go. -

No small reason why I buy OEM unlocked phones, now. If I can't root it, then I don't want it. -

I agree. plus you can change out OS with some modifications I'm told. Linux phone with little chance of being hacked or turning on features to silently pass files. if you drive for uber.. that's a decent little side job.. but it is warned that uber's ap is really terrible with security. there must be a thousand third party aps which I feel are skimming off of pay of other drivers and or get the longer rides with more pay. whatever you do if you drive part time is go to the airport and hang out at the TNC lots. fux that shiz -

That factory didn't explode. A small fire broke out. Not the same thing. Plus, it was a waste depository not a production facility. Not surprising since they were more than likely processing defective Note 7 batteries. -
2017-02-15 at 6:22 AM UTCIt's unlocked, standard carrier is Sprint. I think I'm also going to switch to Ting, which I can get a $25 for and is probably the best value by a wide margin: https://ting.com/rates?lpn=tsd-rates
Curious if I can get it to carry all calls and texts through wifi or mobile data so I won't pay for anything except that.
How did I get it that cheap? I'm just that good at bargaining. -

2017-02-15 at 6:56 AM UTCthanks to the bastards who sabotaged Samsung (which suddenly everything they make seems to be blowing up.. such as note 7 and their washing machines) I can't buy a Note 7.. so I'm going to agree with Cap Falcon with the note 5. it has a 4k camera.. brilliant colors. and I think the second generation of it has a 8mpx front and 20mpx back. beautiful colors. even my old note 3 is decent, but the lens cover is scratched.. so lights flare on it. :(

You are mentally retarded regarding the conspiracy theory, but you're right about the Note 7 being a good ass phone.
It is by far the best phone of 2016 (not even a competition) if you ignore the allahuakbar issue.
Best camera, best display, great battery life (again, disregarding how it tends to 9/11), phenomenal functionality and differentiation with regards to its stylus and security features (MST pulse Samsung Pay, Iris Scanner + Fingerprint lock feature) and leveraging it's AMOLED screen, and no joke, it was visually gorgeous in terms of its industrial design.

2017-02-15 at 7:02 AM UTCholy fuck what even is this thread?
I assume it was established that phablets are stupid in the first few pages and then someone spammed shit for 8 more because there's no way there's that much to say about oversized phones -

Switch to Cricket. I've got a referral link for you that'll give us both a $25 credit. They recently increased the data allowance on their plans. The smart plan ($50) now has 8GB of data, and the pro plan ($60) now was 12GB. Or, you could get unlimited for $70. Plus, if you sign up for autopay, that'll knock $5 off your bill. I switched from T-Mobile and haven't regretted it for a second. -

didn't they redesign the entire thing? it happens twice? I still believe someone messed with the firmware and made the os scripts do weird shit to overheat the battery. they say it was the mixing of two metals. So they redesigned the battery to a type they used before. but perhaps you work for the company? I spoke with someone at Samsung while driving them home from the Samsung research center near Palo Alto/Redwood city area. Are you Suzie? -

Hey know it all.. It was someone from the research center I had a conversation with, that said it was circulating a possible hack in the systems files was creating this. especially after the second design. Some people say, they never redesigned but just lied about doing so.. but in fact, they didn't get to replace everyone's batteries in time.. the person didn't go more into it than that, but said they used an older type of battery using original metals (ore?) to prevent it from happening again.. but it happened again. the company is near google's HQ campus. and the person I spoke to was a research scientist. It's nothing to do with Alex Jones. that guy is probably CIA himself, and you're a paid government troll -
