You could do that, but mine is a managed fund, basically like an index fund, except with real estate.
Ideally at some point I do want to start buying up a bunch of real estate myself. That’s about ten years off though, if the economy doesn’t collapse before then. -
2020-03-26 at 2:46 AM UTCAre you talking about buying it and flipping it? Or are you thinking of renting it?

2020-03-26 at 2:53 AM UTCSee I think renting is work. Either doing all the repairs yourself, or paying someone else to do it. Seems like it could nickel and dime ya to death.
Flipping is work, but once it’s done you’re not tied to it forever. -
2020-03-26 at 2:57 AM UTCMost millionaires started out by investing in real estate. Something like 80% or 90%. It’s one of the only ways to “win” this rigged game called life.
I would just outsource all the work to a property management company. -

not timing chains.
timing chains were designed to last an entire lifetime of the engine under normal usage and maintainence.
ive never seen timing chains break in my entire 2 years carrier as a machanic and ive seen timing chains older than my dad. -
