2020-03-09 at 8:31 PM UTCaccording to the OP and the thread title, they are advertising for someone who can thrust with hearty vigor and rigidity.
my qualifications are that i rent my pelvis out as a pile driver to large construction projects when its not being used to pulverize the hip bones of those so inclined. -

About the only sensible way to approach girls is as a fuccboi, if you try to actually interact with them you'll have a bad time.

considering the personalities...and physical traits...of the posters on this side, better advice would be to find the biggest guy, take a knee, open wide, and do their best impression of a hoover vacuum. -

where i work they have some of the most toxic chemicals that exist in human technology. (isocyanates for one...10%-plus sodium hypochlorite...high concentrations of assorted acids...14-pH alkaline powders...)
before anyone is allowed to use the high-end toxo-shits they have to go through a course, pass a test, demonstrate they know how to wear the proper PPE while using it, and demonstrate they know what to do if theres an oopsie.
fast forward to after theyre certified: literally not a single person wears their issued respirator, specialty repellent gloves, or goggles. -

Originally posted by Jiggaboo_Johnson Erm wrong, the one I just mentioned in Houston the kid died…as for the 111 incidents last year, several died…
Again it's a common thing now…1 every 3 days…it's only the 'big' ones that make the news now (like the ones you mentioned)…the problem hasn't gone away and i'll wager they'll be at least 1 "big" one this year too.
woopdee doodoo. more people die from flesh-eating bacteria and zombified brain-eating amoebas.
there is no problem that needs to go away -

Originally posted by aldra anyone ever worked with armstrong powder (from cap guns) as a primer?
I've heard it works, not sure about how reliably though
no. its too unstable and undependable. there are other easier and 'safer' means of making priming compound. the best being just buying a fucking primer at a sporting goods store.
the minuscule amount in a toy cap isnt significant but when there is a sufficient amount to ignite a smokeless powder charge it becomes a hazard of entertaining proportions.
additionally...there is more to a primer than just the compound itself. for one thing, there is a shaped piece of metal (generally a copper alloy) that allows efficient and reliable detonation (wrong word...but it sounds better) of the compound when its crushed between two layers of metal. -

Originally posted by snab_snib to add to that, i recently got a 'delay' on my NICS inquiry, when it's always been 3-10 minutes to a 'proceed' in the past. you can't 'delay' a right, either. it made me wonder if they had blacklisted me because i finally said something about killing niggers one too many times on the internet. which i have a right to do.
every delay ive ever had is due to a network going tits-up or the NICS system being tits-up -

you live in australia, right? they have a handloading community there.
no...the anvil point is pointing at the flat metal of the 'outside' of the primer where the firing pin impacts. the priming compound is between the anvil point and the disk. it is crushed by the hammer smashing the flat part of the primer against the anvil.
i have done almost everything imaginable to fuck with primers to get them to go off and the only reliable way to get them to is impact with the firearm firing pin.
