   Probably not to millenials who were raised with the "wrap them in cotton wool" philosophy and so have weak immune systems and low tolerances. Back in my day we used to play with Mercury rolling it around in our palms etc..these days if 1 tiny drop is found in walmart they close the place down for 2 days.
