It's really crazy how angry they all were on the 6th and early 7th, before they had a chance to reconvene and realize that a significant portion of their voter base still supports Trump.

Knowledge =/= intelligence.
He can tell you what the acronym for some random Syrian militia group stands for, but when it comes to the scientific method a lot of people fall flat in their understanding, and mostly make up their opinions based on experience/emotion instead of scientific logic. The link between lack of scientific understanding, and belief in conspiracy theory, is pretty damn strong.
I think he's at least intelligent enough to know his beliefs are irrational and is therefore embarrassed to share -

He undid a Trump admin change that made it harder to actually get asylum. It created a waiting period. THAT'S why they were waiting at the border in camps. Trump created the problem in the first place. Otherwise these people would've been processed already and either been granted or denied asylum. Anyone who is coming in would've gotten asylum eventually.
The left was complaining about the people at the border back in 2019.... where the fuck were you? Biden solved the problem that Trump created. That's all that happened. He removed the racist red tape.
